Making Way For Development

St John's Chikwaka proudly announces significant developments and improvements made this year, bolstering our commitment to providing a conducive learning environment and upgraded facilities. Notable achievements include the tiling of boys' hostels, enhancing cleanliness, safety and comfort, and the purchase of a new generator ensuring uninterrupted power supply. Additionally, a freshly drilled borehole provides a consistent water source.
The school has also refurbished classroom furniture, promoting student engagement and comfort. Strategic construction projects include roofing completion of the clinic, marking significant progress and the construction of an additional staff house enhancing teacher welfare and retention. These accomplishments demonstrate St John's Chikwaka's dedication to fostering academic excellence, student well-being and staff satisfaction.

Educational Trip To Geo Pomona Waste Management Pvt Ltd

Tour to Geo Pomona Waste Management
Composition: 4 staff members, Mr Mufukari, Mr Mwakurudza, Ms Nhema and Mr Maziofa.
40 students 7 Lower six and 33 Form 3.

We toured the Geo Pomona sight being led by a team of Engineers. They showed an encapsulation point, a weigh bridge, landfills, a waste treatment plant and a sorting plant.
They also showed us the football field and basketball fields. They explained the 4Rs of waste management which are Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover.
At Pristine Power Solutions we learnt about solar energy. They took a group photo. If you get in touch with them they can forward to you because they inquired about any site where they can post.
